Terms of use

Effective July 15, 2026. These terms form an agreement between you and JustScribe. By using the service, you agree to them.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity in your account and must notify [email protected] of suspected unauthorized use.

Service description

A task-led creative workbench for generating, editing, and exporting visual media.

Credits, subscriptions, and payment

Generation uses credits at the amount shown before submission. The amount reflects the selected model, output settings, and billable reference-video duration. Prices are in USD unless stated otherwise; tax may be added. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed interval until cancelled through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally remains effective through the paid billing period. Purchased subscription and top-up credits roll over and remain available while the account stays active. Credit grants, promotional credits, and plan features may change prospectively.

Stripe processes payments. You authorize us and Stripe to charge the selected payment method. Failed generation jobs receive an automatic credit refund. Monetary refunds follow our refund policy and mandatory consumer law.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, or rights-infringing material; to impersonate people deceptively; to bypass safety controls or rate limits; to reverse engineer protected systems; or to interfere with the service. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.

Your content and generated output

You retain rights you already hold in submitted content and grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions. AI output may be inaccurate, offensive, unsuitable, or similar to existing work. You must review output before use and must not represent synthetic media deceptively.

Rights in output and commercial use depend on applicable law and the terms active for your account. We do not guarantee exclusivity, copyright eligibility, or non-infringement.

Availability and changes

Models, processing systems, pricing, features, limits, and pre-release information may change. We may pause the service for security, maintenance, legal, or operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent storage of generated files.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the service or request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, legal risk, or nonpayment. Terms that should reasonably survive termination, including payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability, continue to apply.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continuing to use the service after they take effect means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law. Questions: [email protected].
